We are actually considering getting a third for our couch for napping. Also, when it falls off the bed at night, it is the heaviest thing to lift back up! You also will not want to move it between the couch and bed because of it's weight. Only downside is washing it will probably be a pain (haven't done it yet) - I usually sleep with a sheet between me and the Bearaby. He also loves rolling around on top of it. We were worried it would crush him, but I swear when we put it on him he sleeps harder than he ever has.

I have a small 20lb dog who loves to burrow between us at night. I am extremely active so I have no issues falling asleep as it is, but I do think the Bearaby helps. This blanket doesn't solve that issue, but it does "pin" me down better if I do move. I have a weird REM behavior disorder where my muscles don't always fall asleep at night, so I tend to thrash and act out dreams. I still think it is worth every penny, and probably the best purchase I have made this year. Even laying on top of it is very comfortable. It's still an amazing blanket you will use for decades. You definitely build up a "tolerance" to the weighted blanket, and the amazingness effect will wear off. Some people think the 20lbs is too heavy, but I would prefer one that is twice that weight. We each bought the Queen size and BOTH fit on our queen size bed. I bought mine in the summer, and you can easily sleep with it in the hottest of conditions and it breathes really well.

You can always return it if you don't like it. I bought a Bearaby (woven style weighted blanket) 6 months ago and I love it.
